The Mercedes
Benz A class cars are subcompact executive
vehicles produced by the German automaker
Mercedes Benz. It is considered as one of the most significant
segments in the Mercedes cars and is affectionately called as Baby Benz by its
fans. Initially launched as a four-door hatchback in 1997, Baby Benz
has been renewing itself over the years.
The end of 2018 will unveil the latest generation of Benz A class.
This
four-door sedan car has a wheelbase of 2,729 millimetres and proper proportions of a dynamic and compact sedan car. According to a popular automobile magazine, new Mercedes A class price in Delhi is set at
INR 31.96 lakhs.

The new Mercedes A-Class
offers three engine options: 1.4-litre petrol, 2.0-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre
diesel. The 1.4-litre petrol engine produces 163PS/250Nm while the 2.0-litre
petrol is good for 224PS/350Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel variant
produces 116PS of power and 260Nm of torque. The engines come with a 7-speed
dual-clutch automatic transmission; however, the 2.0 -litre petrol engine also
offers a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The Mercedes A class is stylish, bold and
sports an aggressive look. The dashboard sports a soft-leather texture with
part-fabric, part-leather seats. The cabin provides
with three different screen options: two 7-inch screens, one 7-and one
10.25-inch screen and two 10.25-inch screens (depending on variant), one of
which acts as the instrument cluster while other acts as the infotainment
screen.
Mercedes Benz India has introduced the augmented reality navigation in the A class. Hence, while you are driving Mercedes Benz A Class Car in Delhi, a city known for its immense traffic, the technology provides a live camera feed of the road ahead, which includes real-time information on navigation when asked for. The satellite navigation overlays images from the car’s front camera showing arrows, street names and house numbers which guide you while driving.
When it comes to safety, Mercedes Benz never compromises. You get six airbags, tyre pressure monitors, and collision prevention assist. Along with childproofing for the door(manual) and rear windows(electrical), it has Central locking with interior switch and crash sensor with the emergency opening.
