Performance:
This premium luxury hatchback
comes in two engine choices. One is the 2.2 liter, diesel power plant churning
out 136 kW between 3600 to 4400 RPM with 300 Nm between 1400 to 3000 RPM. The petrol
variant houses a 1.6 liter gasoline engine that gives peak power of 122 kW at
5000 RPM, and 200 Nm torque between 1250 to 4000 RPM. The Mercedes Benz A Class
offers a top speed of 210 km/h by the diesel engine and 202 km/h for the petrol
variant. The Mercedes A-Class transmission features a seven speed dual clutch
gearbox. The smooth suspension system adds greatly to its performance.
